I have now booked my flight home (7th of March) so it’s time to enjoy my last couple of months in Melbourne.
I’m very excited as Laura will be joining me for my last two weeks in Australia. We will be visiting Sydney while she is here, just because it has to be done!

My Mother and Father have treated me to a Jay-Z and U2 concert for Christmas, the actual concert is tomorrow night and I cannot wait.

I decided to head out tonight and take a few more snaps of Melbourne…

Yesterday afternoon I was called by a recruitment agency and asked if I could go in for an interview at Two o’clock. The position they currently have available is for a company called Lease Plan (which is also in the UK) on a customer service desk advising customers about the current vehicles they have available. I went in for the interview at Two o’clock and was offered the job there and then.

I start tomorrow and can’t wait!

On Friday the 16th we had a little party at the apartment to welcome all the newcomers (Me and Jo included) We had a heavy night filled with a few games and allot of laughs.

Thanks to Christine and Tyler for our little celebratory present, it toped the night of perfectly.

Yesterday was a sad and happy day as we left Christine’s & Tyler’s apartment to move into out new apartment. We are situated just outside of the city (Southbank) right next to the Casino in a high rise.

We have opted for a house share as it was too competitive to rent out own apartment but I am happy with our choice of accommodation and I look forward to spending a few months here.

For Easter weekend Tyler decided to organise a trip to The Great Ocean Road, which is a road that runs from Torquay to Nullawarre.

We set off early morning on Friday the 26th at around 9:30, due to everyone having a little lie in. We then went straight to the hire car company to pick up our ride for the weekend and then onto meat up with Veronica (One of Christine’s friends)
